Instructions for downloading audio recordings
1. First
download (and
save) a small program file,
VS2_VM1_player;
this file is needed to play the audio files. After saving this file on your hard
drive, double click on the file name and it will install the VS2 miniplayer on
your computer along with instructions on how to play audio files.
2. These instructions
are contained in a help file, which will be automatically created when the
miniplayer is installed.
3. These instructions
are summarized below:
(a). Open the
miniplayer by double clicking on the miniplayer file installed by the
VS2_VM!_player you downloaded; it will be in the folder called VM1_player, this
folder will be automatically made during installation.
(b). Download the
audio file you wish to listen to and save it in the same directory as the miniplayer.
On some system, the download manager zips the file and corrupts it. These cannot
be used. On other systems, the download manager has the option (at the bottom of
the window which opens up asking where to save the file) to download it as
zipped or as "all files", choose "all files" option.
(c) Start the
miniplayer by double clicking on its icon
(d) Drag and drop
the audio file inside the miniplayer (the black area) and click on play.
4. Test your settings
by downloading a
test file
and playing it.
