Foundational Pedagogy

Islamic schools employ a pedagogy that is deeply rooted in the Qur’anic Worldview as it pertains to the human beings and our place in the cosmos. The cosmos is everything other than the Creator. Human beings are created with an innate nature (fitra) and they have inner and outer faculties.

Every teacher is a student and every student a teacher. Thus, there are two learners in every learning situation. Islamic pedagogy is based on the Prophetic model.

What is it that transforms a Muslim school to an Islamic School? The difference is in the foundational approach.
